Indigenisation Procedure

 The Directorate is guided by the following procedure for indigenising an equipment or system:-

Vetting and Registration of Indent

Vendor Selection and Preparation of TE

1 week

IFA Concurrence, CFA Approval and Floating of TE

2 weeks

Submission of Quotations (technical & commercial bids)

3- 4 weeks (LTE- OTE)

Opening of Technical Bids & Technical Evaluation

3 weeks

Opening of Commercial Offers

2 weeks

Preparation of CST and Proposal

1 week

Proposal for Procurement/ Counter offer/ Scheduling of PNC and CFA approval

2 weeks

Brief for PNC, Notice for PNC and PNC Meetings

4 weeks

PNC Minutes and Signature

1 week

IFA Concurrence and CFA Approval for Developmental Proposal

2 weeks

Preparation and Despatch of Supply Order
